We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice PPO insurance. If you are in network with another insurance, we can gladly provide you with an invoice so that you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. Feel free to reach out so we can provide you with more information and answer any of your questions.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. Please see the tab entitled "Good Fatih Estimate" for the full notice.
During the first and second session, you will discuss your presenting concerns and what brought you into treatment. You will also share information about your mental, physical, and emotional health so we can gather all the necessary information to create a tailored treatment plan specifically designed for you. We create your treatment goals together to ensure we meet your needs and treatment objectives.
Therapy is most effective when you have good rapport with the clinician. If for any reason, you feel that your therapist just isn't the right fit, no worries, they can always refer you to someone else. There is no pressure or obligation to continue seeing someone that you are not comfortable with. After all, we have your best interests in mind :)
Each individual therapy session typically lasts between 53-60 minutes.
We recommend seeing your therapist at least once per week. Why? Because evidenced based studies generally show that session frequency is associated with superior outcomes and reduced symptoms.
The benefit of therapy is that you can help find relief from your primary concern(s). It can also result in improved mood, enhanced coping skills, better relationships, and increased self-esteem. After all, who doesn't want a better quality of life?!
